Duties
Work with BAME communities to support young people's mental health
Available to work evening and weekends
Must understand BAME community culture
Your role will include:
-Engaging with young people
- Running wellbeing activities (including sports activities)
-Hosting workshops and evaluating impact
- Physical activities experience
- Provide guidance and support to participants to enhance their skills and knowledge
-Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
-Evaluate participant progress and provide feedback for improvement
-Work independently
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching or education is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively support young people
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for promoting physical activity
-Fluent in English
- Have an understanding of South Asian cultural barriers and taboos
