We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support the Youth & Integration Department within the Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme, as per role of Youth & Integration Coordinator.
You will be responsible for coordinator the Holiday Activity & Food project (18.5 hours) across Locality D (Including the following areas: Birley, Beighton, Mosborough, Westfield, Handsworth and Woodhouse).
Supporting the Youth & Integration Manager and Youth & Integration Coordinator across the open access youth sessions, including supporting in the Premier League Kicks and Universal Youth projects (18.5 hours).
Holiday Activity Fund -
Impacting on nutritional needs of young people from disadvantaged areas of Sheffield by coordinating activity in Locality D on behalf of the local authority.
To support delivery of Youth & Integration projects including Premier League Kicks & Premier League Targeted, Holiday Activity & Food & Youth-based projects, delivering innovative initiatives and engaging activities.
Supporting cross-departmental projects, including the Participation team & Health team, supporting on initiatives and activities, whilst highlighting & showcasing the work Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme are delivering.
Specific Task Related:
Holiday Activity & Food -
- Coordinate and develop the Holiday Activity & Food project & Youth-based projects.
- Engage children & young people aged 5 - 16 years of age of all backgrounds and characteristics, that benefit related free school meals.
- Recruit and support volunteers to help with project as required.
- Use a wide range of communication methods to promote and market the Holiday Activity & Food Programme to the target audiences.
- Support young people & families to access the provision.
- To participate in appropriate training courses and regular CPD activities.
- To carry out a mapping exercise of Sheffield which identifies the need of delivery and potential partners.
- Complete risk assessments and venue checks for all project delivery sites, keeping these updated and in date.
- Promote the Holiday Activity & Food and Youth-based projects across Sheffield.
- Source new delivery partners to enhance the Holiday Activity & Food and Youth-based projects across Sheffield.
- Increase levels of capacity building across Sheffield in order to pool financial, human, and physical resources.
- Capture the M&E data to demonstrate the impact that the project is achieving via the use of case studies.
- Establish and implement quarterly Holiday Activity & Food steering group meetings.
- Attend local authority meetings and local area committee meetings.
- Coordinate the resources across the Holiday Activity & Food and Youth-based projects with the delivery team and across Sheffield.
- Be the main point of contact for the delivery providers and participants for the Holiday Activity & Food & youth-based projects.
- Being responsible for & managing casual, support and delivery staff across the Holiday Activity & Food & Youth-based projects, reporting any concerns to Youth & Integration Manager.
Youth & Integration Department -
- Support the Youth & Integration department, delivering diversionary activity alongside projects.
- Meet youth-based projects targets against stakeholder set KPI's.
- Keep up to date with data inputting.
- Organize innovative events such as Ramadan Football and PL Kicks tournaments.
- Bringing innovative delivery ideas forward, such as Youth Forums and specific workshop delivery, educating and developing service users.
- Delivering educational-based and EDI-based workshops and delivery in-line with the awareness calendar.
SWFCCP -
- Placing & promoting safeguarding, EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) and mental health at the heart of delivery.
- Support Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme as a scheme, supporting cross-departmental where requested.
- Working in-line with SWFCCP visions and values.
- To professionally represent SWFC & the Community Programme.
- To complete any other activities and job requested by your Line Manager.

Working Hours:
37 hours, over 7 days. As is expected with this post, there will be regular match days, weekends & unsocial hours as part of a regular working pattern.
