Wayman Education is looking for a Year 1 teacher based in the heart of Heathfield, Richmond! This is an opportunity to work within an Outstanding primary school in Richmond, Southwest London. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care. Year 1 Teacher responsibilities:

• Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 1 students
• Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school\'s curriculum and national standards
• Assess and evaluate Year 1 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
• Provide regular feedback to Year 1 students, parents and colleagues on student progress
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

Year 1 Teacher requirements:

• QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
• Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
• Passionate about learning
• Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 1 environment
• Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
