We are currently recruiting for a Yard Person / Sales Assistant for our depot here at GP Smart & Son, Alford. Specialising in Agricultural supplies and equipment we are seeking a motivated and focused individual to join our team.
Joining our friendly hardworking team, you will be front in line dealing with safe loading and unloading of goods.
Accepting deliveries into our yard, offloading and checking goods against
delivery notes
Correct storage of materials and restocking rotation Safe loading of heavy goods vehicles and customers Looking out materials for deliveries Ensuring the yard is always kept tidy Carrying out general maintainance repairs in and throughout the premises Carrying out inspections on owned plant and vehicles Assisting with daily sales ( Training can be provided)
Requirements
Driving Licence Great Customer Service Masted and Telescopic Tickets Agricultural Knowledge Basic Literate and numerate ability
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential as it's a correct attitude and willingness we look for.
Hours of work would be 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday and will be required to work 1 in 2 Saturdays 7.30am - 12.30pm.
