Yard Person
Job Description
Don Valley Ltd is a family business currently looking for a new member of staff to primarily work as a yards person at our busy depot just outside Inverurie.
Duties would include the following:
Loading orders for customers collecting from our yard
Organising orders for delivery by our lorries
Re-stocking/bagging of products such as topsoil, bark and compost
Unloading of deliveries made to our yard
Making pallets
Seed Bagging
Counterbalance and telescopic forklift experience is essential for this position
Desirable skills would include:
Tractor Driving
Digger Experience up to 14T Slew
Mechanical Experience
Standard hours throughout British Summer Time would be 7.30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. Winter hours would be 8am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. There may be overtime depending upon the needs of the business.
Interviews and start date will take place as soon as possible.
Hourly rate offered will depend upon experience.
Clean Driving Licence is required.
