Xyz Cnc Machine Setter/operator
Job Description
Looking for a competent short to medium run Setter/ Machinist/ Offline Programmer.
To join a growing company as a "XYZ CNC Turner", Customers include Aerospace, Automotive, Automation, and Medical sectors,
Programming, Setting and Running XYZ 410/420 Lathes.
Working week is based on a 40 hours per week, day shift.
4 day compressed week Monday to Thursday 6am-4:30pm
Fridays are a non working day / overtime if available.
Other work patterns can be accomodated on agreement.
Prospective Candidates will be expected to produce parts from drawings and samples as issued to line.
Set tooling and be able to specify or use appropiate tooling.
Correctly read drawing for short run manufacturing,
Operate within a ISO9001 production environment
Self Inspect parts manufactured to drawing tolerances.
Keep assigned spaces and machines clean and workable area.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.50-16.50 per hour

10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
Stourport-on-Severn, DY13 9QB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
Machine Setting: 1 year (preferred)
