YOUR ROLE

As an X-Ray Screener, you will be part of a crucial team who are committed to providing safety to our high-profile customer.

Within this important role, you will assess and screen high-level goods to prevent and mitigate any possible threats towards the safety of our site and our customer.

Making your difference in our security control, you will directly contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and the operation.

You will use various screening technology, processes and procedures to screen packages and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The location for this role in London - NW10.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

During your induction period, we will provide you with the necessary training on how to:

• Detect any potential threats
• Report said threats in line with company policy
• Safely operate machinery
• Manipulate X-ray images

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

• Carrying out warehouse functions in line with company policies, procedures and food hygiene guidelines
• Loading and unloading X-Ray scanner by hand
• Daily and weekly checks of X-rays machines, reporting any faults if necessary
• Ensure all staff meet Health and Safety Standards
• Operation of X-ray machinery with the successful identification of any potential threats or that which could be deemed as a threat

The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 00:00-08:30 & 08:00-16:30.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience in a Warehouse Operative or X-ray Screening role, or those that are looking for a move in to this field as full training is available.

Due to the nature of the role. it is also essential that you are an excellent team player with a high attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working in a fast paced, high security environment.
