We are looking for an experienced, proactive

Workshop Manager

to lead our workshop operations and help drive our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring projects are completed on time, to specification, and within budget. Lead and supervise workshop staff, including welders, fabricators, fitters, and apprentices. Plan and allocate work schedules, coordinating resources and manpower effectively. Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring all work meets T E Solutions' standards and client expectations. Oversee workshop safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Monitor and manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment. Support project management activities, including providing technical advice, cost estimates, and progress reporting. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and staff development. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment. Maintain workshop equipment, scheduling regular maintenance and arranging repairs as needed.
Skills and Experience

Proven experience in a workshop supervisory or management role within a fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing environment. Strong technical knowledge of fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly processes. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices. Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, job management systems). Strong communication skills and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
Qualifications

Relevant trade qualifications in fabrication, mechanical engineering, or related fields. Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) desirable. Forklift, crane, or lifting certifications an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 38,000.00-52,000.00 per year
