Responsibilities

As a Works Manager you\'ll be working within the Wessex team to ensure the site works are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with the prescribed contract, design, client and project requirements.

Your day to day will include:

You\xe2\x80\x99ll assist in the scope and objectives of the project and ensure construction operations are in accordance with the project requirements.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll control the project schedule to ensure timely completion and stop any work if it is deemed unsafe to continue.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll also ensure labour resources are utilised within the project where required and maintain records of daily site activities to monitor and track project progress.

Who are we looking for?

This role of Works Manager is great for you if:

You hold A HNC or NVQ Level 2 qualified individual

You have previous Civil Engineering experience and demonstrable knowledge and application of Site Construction activities.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll also have previous experience of managing site teams, subcontractors and operative staff.
