WORKING RECRUITMENT LTD – Financial Controller: UK Brighton, London, South Coast, Portsmouth
: Oversee all daily accounting tasks, cost accounting functions, month end reporting, as well as financial analysis
Qualifications: 8+ years’ experience in Accounting. 2-4 years’ experience in Start-Up Cost Accounting role. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar numerical / analytical discipline. Background in external investment/start-ups PLC Accounting, with strong focus & understanding of Cost Accounting & how Cost impacts the broader organisation. Sets a high standard of excellence & strives to exceed it. Thorough knowledge of financial & accounting practices & procedures
Preferred: CPA or equivalent MBA Experience operating within a global reach environment
Familiarity & experience using lean tools, & driving continuous improvement initiatives (D365/AX CRM and ERP systems Dynamics 365 Dynamics AX) system knowledge
Responsibilities:
Leader within the Global accounting team Key importance on reporting, controlling & cost accounting
Ensures adherence to financial policies & procedures and recommends improvements
Responsible for accurate recording & reporting of financial transactions for the partner operations
Heads up budget process for operations & accounting procedures can help support them better.
Monthly management reporting & ad hoc analysis, as required
Monthly balance sheet & P&L reviews & analysis Leads annual standard cost process for the WORKING RECRUITMENT LTD client locations & assists with the global locations
Leads the cost process (requests for new project estimates & cost analysis)
Leads asset investment analyses as needed
Drive goals & objectives with a sense of urgency; prioritise & communicate goals & objectives to align with company objectives.
Analyses & communicates operations financial performance to a broad range of teammates through all levels of the organisation.
Interacts with multiple departments, including Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales, IT, & External Audit.
