For further details of our staff benefits, please visit https://www.chesterfield.ac.uk/workingforus/ A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Work-Based Tutor to mentor, teach and assess for Learning Unlimited, part of the Chesterfield College Group with an emphasis on delivering high-quality and inspiring Business Administration and Customer Service Apprenticeship Standard provision. The successful candidate will be required to deliver group cohort sessions alongside conducting workplace visits to a caseload of learners, providing teaching, mentoring and assessment for the successful completion of their chosen Apprenticeship Standard. The Work-Based Tutor will work with the learners to ensure that all elements of the Apprenticeship Standard are completed in a timely manner. The successful applicant will be responsible for the whole learner journey including advice and guidance, enrolment onto the correct programme of learning, delivery and employer liaison. Applicants must have occupational competence in the qualifications outlined above. Holding an Assessors A1 Award (TDLB D32/D33) or TAQA 301 Award would be desirable, however not essential as there is an opportunity for this role to be converted to a trainee position with a view to the successful applicant working towards the aforementioned qualifications during their employment. Excellent communication and organisation skills in addition to a professional outlook are essential.
