About us
AJ Charlton and Sons are a family company that employ over 100 staff locally. Our Joinery Department now have an excellent opportunity for wood machinists to join our long-established family run business near Frome, in Somerset.
We are looking for fit & enthusiastic individuals to join our team of skilled Wood Machinists, it would be preferential if the candidate had previous experience in gate manufacturing & woodworking.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that high quality expectations are met with all work Follow safety protocols when operating machinery. Maintain an organised and tidy workspace. Work to a set cut list ensuring waste is minimised. Keep clear records of production amounts and times. Communicate with supervisors regarding order status.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 29,523.00 per year
