Job Description

A leading global energy transition company are developing a portfolio of renewable energy and green hydrogen projects to support the establishment of green energy and green product industries around the world.

The company are looking for a structural engineering expert in Wind Tower Design that will support the current and future evaluation and implementation of investments in the Wind Tower marketplace.

The role:

Develop plans to implement selected technologies in target markets.

Develop plans to de-risk technology implantation with affected stakeholders.

Ensure proper certification is achieved by vendors for any selected towers for use in projects.

Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions or investments in the wind equipment market.

Maintain knowledge of industry standards and their application to wind turbine towers.

Support PPAP for Wind and Type Certification for selected tower technologies.

Support operational teams in estimating installation, operations and maintenance time and materials to inform investment decisions and operational strategies.

Support development of overall Wind Technology strategy.

The Individual:

Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical, civil, or structural engineering

Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in structural design with 3-5 years of wind tower design experience.

Experience leading engineering projects from design to field implementation.

Spanish and English language proficiency.

PMP Certification.

Sound knowledge of FEA and structural analysis.

IEC 61400 certification experience.
