Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a welder/ fabricator who pays great attention to detail, manages their time efficiency and is well organised. You will be able to be innovative and be a great team player with future role progression opportunities.

We specialise in the production of British premium animal bedding, with our new state of the art manufacturing facilities and a boundless passion for animals! Your duties will comprise of-

Building and adapting existing equipment

Welding and fabricating using Gas, Mig and Tig

Maintaining and repairing machinery during times of breakdown

Building and developing new equipment

Maintaining an inventory of goods and supplies

Maintaining work areas and equipment

Project planning, Working closely with MD on projects and looking at machine development to improve efficiency

Promote goodwill and a positive company image to fellow colleagues

Perform other duties as required by MD

Mechanical knowledge is required

Terms and Benefits

This is a full-time based position so you must be able to commute on a daily basis to Metfield on the Norfolk/ Suffolk boarder. Rate of pay negotiable depending on experience.
