Commercial & Industrial -

Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education.



The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set the

bar high

in their highly complex market!

Vacancy Details



In the Welder position, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality structural steelwork, applying your expertise and commitment to safety in a busy, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:




Reading and interpreting welding procedure data sheets and specifications. Planning welding sequences and delivering high-quality single and multi-run fillet welds, as well as partial and full penetration butt welds. Inspecting and identifying welds using operator ID codes and carrying out repairs when required, all while meeting tight production deadlines. Using pre- and post-heating equipment safely and efficiently.

Required Experience:




Proven experience in structural steelwork fabrication. Skilled in working to recognised fabrication standards with a high level of precision and attention to detail. Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety practices. Experience in operating heating equipment and overhead cranes safely and effectively.
