Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry. Welder \xe2\x80\x93 within Fabrication or Weld department

Shift 06:00 \xe2\x80\x93 14:00 Hours (38 hours/week)

Reporting To:

FABRICATION MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Responsible for/Duties (full training will be given):

• Working in a manual environment, lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoist and chain/strap hoist, the role is to tack and weld metal components as per drawing

• Checking quality of parts before and after process of welding
• Measuring parts before and after weld against drawing
• Grinding and fettling product using air and electric hand tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings is essential (further training will be given)
• PPE supplied; air-fed weld helmet, safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant)
