Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role involves fabricating and assembling components to meet precise specifications while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the welding process.

Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment to perform stick welding and other welding techniques. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly with sheet metal fabrication. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications in welding or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
