Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, particularly with TIG and MIG processes, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling process pipework / Steelwork. This role requires attention to detail, working from technical drawings and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with various power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

Fabricate components from sheet metal according to specifications. Perform welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Assemble parts and structures using welding techniques and mechanical fastening methods. Utilise basic maths skills to interpret measurements and ensure precision in fabrication. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the fabrication process. Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, specifically TIG / MIG welding, is essential. Familiarity with stick welding techniques is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Experience working with sheet metal, pipework and steelwork fabrication is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the welding trade. A commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: 14.00-19.67 per hour
