Weekday Barista
Job Description
We are seeking a competent and reliable barista to join our team. Your friendly demeanour and attention to detail will ensure each customer receives an exceptional experience at our cafe.
Duties:
- Open/close the store without supervision
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the preparation area and dining area.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till
- Prepare drinks & homemade food
We are looking for:
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Someone reliable, hardworking and quick learning who shows initiative during both busy and quiet times.
Please note the stated hours (22.5) will be worked over 3 days, Monday-Friday, with potential for extra during busy periods (school holidays etc).
