Waste Operative (driver)
Job Description
Divert are growing, and we are looking to take on a full time team member to assist with our emergency waste collection services. We are looking for drivers to work on our waste collection vehicles on a full time basis, with immediate start available. The role is varied, and can involve anything from a one-off wheelie bin empty to a full house clearance whilst driving our branded vehicles. Daily manual handling is involved in this role.
The hours are 40 hours per week, with potential overtime to 50 hours. Monday to Friday, occasional weekends. Due to us offering an emergency collection services, the hours can vary and overtime is to be expected. This also means the right candidate will have to be adaptable to the working day and allocation of time.
HGV licence not required
, the vehicles are 3.5 tonnes so can be driven on a standard UK licence.Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
