Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and timely delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in warehouse operations, contributing to a smooth workflow within our facility.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with a flexible working pattern, a couple of days per week and is able to plan their own diary and time.

Duties

Operate trollies and other warehouse equipment for materials handling. Build and assemble products as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Manage stock levels, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfilment. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch. Execute picking and packing duties to prepare orders for delivery. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in warehouse operations, including stock management and materials handling. Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory control. Basic IT skills will be required to populate and print daily job sheets. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, with relevant certification preferred. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and shipping tasks. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
