Summary

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at DTW Tools & Machinery Ltd. In this role, you will oversee warehouse operations in Adlington, Chorley, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage shipping and receiving processes to maintain timely deliveries. Oversee inventory management and control stock levels effectively. Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and safety protocols. Implement logistics strategies to optimize warehouse workflow. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management roles. Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, and receiving processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. Forklift experience and a valid forklift license (highly desirable). Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for understanding equipment handling. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency. Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work environment. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics and order fulfilment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems.
