Salary: 27,500 - 32,500 depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team!

This key leadership role involves overseeing the warehouse operations, ensuring accurate picking and stock replenishment, and supporting the team to meet daily targets efficiently and effectively.

Peter Drew is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our hardworking team.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy, supporting the warehouse staff, and ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.

Accurately pick products according to pick notes and labels.

Check product quality and quantity to ensure all orders meet our high standards.

Work efficiently to meet daily targets and help keep production on schedule.

Communicate regularly with the team regarding progress or issues.

Coordinate and assist in the receiving, unloading and efficient put-away of large container deliveries.

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (training can be provided if needed).

Replenish and drop stock in the warehouse.

Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

Support other departments as needed, showing flexibility across warehouse operations - e.g. making boxes when required.

Requirements:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally in a supervisory capacity.

A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to be on your feet and remain active throughout the working day.

Ability to lift and handle heavy items.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

A forklift licence is preferred; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.

Must have reliable transport to reach our location, as we are not on a public transport route.
