Warehouse Person Driver
client focusses on the aerospace, defence and pharmaceutical industries. The prospective employee is required to hold a full driving licence.
Duties:
\xc2\xb7 Driving - Collection & Deliveries (small van)
\xc2\xb7 Occasional distance driving (small van)
\xc2\xb7 Manual Handling of Goods
\xc2\xb7 Loading/Off Loading of Vehicles
\xc2\xb7 Goods Booking in and out
\xc2\xb7 Check weigh freight and note dimensions
\xc2\xb7 Cargo Labelling
\xc2\xb7 Dangerous Goods awareness
\xc2\xb7 Damage Reports
\xc2\xb7 Cargo Manifesting
\xc2\xb7 Manual Bond Check
\xc2\xb7 Daily Vehicle & Forklift Checks/Log Book
\xc2\xb7 Picking and packing
\xc2\xb7 Documentation checks
\xc2\xb7 Adhoc admin duties
Hours are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30 and an hour for lunch.
Our client offers five weeks holiday per year, after two years service the following calendar year is increased by 1 day per annum up to six weeks holiday.
As is normal within the industry paid overtime and weekend work may be required on occasion.
Auto enrolment pension rules apply, and private healthcare benefits will be offered on completion of the probationary period.
Salary is dependent upon experience and can be discussed at point of interview for this permanent role based in Colnbrook.
