Warehouse Operator

Location: Milton Keynes

Pay rate: Starting at \xc2\xa311.00 per hour, increasing to \xc2\xa311.50 after 12 weeks

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:15, Fri 07:30 - 12:00

Warehouse Operator required to join an international engineering brand in Milton Keynes on a temporary basis, paying in the region of \xc2\xa311 per hour working a Day Shift Monday to Friday.

A global leader of motion and control technology are looking to increase their Warehousing Team. Manufacturing highly engineered components and systems for a wide variety of global markets, you will find their parts and components on and around anything that moves.

As a Warehouse Operative at our Milton Keynes production facility, you will play a crucial role in supporting various warehouse processes, including picking, goods in, and dispatch. Your responsibilities will contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse operations. Additionally, you will actively participate in process improvement activities to elevate our warehouse operation to the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operator:

\xc2\xb7 Accurately and efficiently perform picking operations based on picking lists and instructions.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure that the correct quantities and items are picked for each order.

\xc2\xb7 Picking items ready for despatch

\xc2\xb7 Pack products safely and accurately

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the booking-in process of incoming parts and materials.

\xc2\xb7 Verify the received items against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare completed items for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging and labelling.

\xc2\xb7 Organize the dispatch area to streamline the shipping process.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with high-performing teams to identify areas for improvement within the warehouse.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing operational efficiency and reducing errors.

\xc2\xb7 Adhere to all health, safety, and security guidelines in the warehouse.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe working conditions.

Ideal candidate for the Warehouse Operator role:

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a fast-paced production or logistics environment is preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing warehouse tasks.

\xc2\xb7 Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision.

\xc2\xb7 Willingness to adapt to changing demands and take on new challenges.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors effectively.
