The Stokes brand reaches the finest shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs and delis across the Food Service and Retail sectors in the UK, as well as several key export markets.

We are looking for a

Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

to join our growing team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of stock and maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day running of the warehouse to ensure efficient and effective performance. Receive, store, and move raw materials and packaging with accuracy and care. Transport finished goods from the factory to distribution areas, ensuring proper handling and traceability. Maintain stock control systems, ensuring accurate records and paperwork are completed and returned on time. Uphold food safety standards, following HACCP procedures and company protocols. Keep warehouse areas clean and organised, following a 'clean as you go' approach and completing hygiene records as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

About You:

Forklift License (essential). Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Good understanding of health and safety and food safety practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
