Location: HM Prison Birmingham - B18 4ASPLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders.No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with picking and packing.
• To manage the stock put away and pick operations and assisting Workshop Supervisor in supervising prison inmates to carry out these functions to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate distribution of orders to prisoners.
• Observe DHL personal and product hygiene requirements in line with legislation at all times, and adopt a xe2x80x9cclean as you goxe2x80x9d attitude within the work environment.
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison).
• Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the inmates.
• Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Current three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates.
• A good understanding of warehouse processes, desirable.
• Good communication skills across all levels.
• Management experience desired.
• Experience working in a Supply Chain / Logistics environment essential.
• Clean and Full UK Driving License required for potential travel to other prisons in the area.
