We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Shoreham by Sea, BN43

You will be part of the gap personnel team working on an ongoing basis.

What will you be doing?

\xc2\xb7 Frequent handling of cleaning chemicals, following COSHH training given, whilst wearing appropriate company issue PPE

\xc2\xb7 Cleaning of Food Manufacturing equipment, by dismantling the equipment to get access to all parts & reassembling correctly at the end of the clean in a timely fashion following training given.

\xc2\xb7 Cleaning of factory fabrications, such as walls, floors, drains etc. following a predetermined schedule

\xc2\xb7 ensuring ready-to-use chemical stock within the factory is always topped up

\xc2\xb7 ensuring chemical dosing stations are fully functional and reporting any defects to your manager. Replenishing chemical kegs as required.

\xc2\xb7 Refilling factory dispensers with blue roll, soap, sanitiser, and barrier cream as required

\xc2\xb7 Emptying factory waste bins and promoting good recycling practices

\xc2\xb7 Reporting all \xe2\x80\x98near misses\xe2\x80\x99

\xc2\xb7 Cleaning the roof spaces, and removing any rubbish

\xc2\xb7 Logging maintenance requests on WAM system

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the production of hygiene SOPs / CIC\xe2\x80\x99s

\xc2\xb7 Training of agency and new staff members

\xc2\xb7 Reporting any damaged or defective equipment / cleaning tools to your supervisor

\xc2\xb7 Cleaning staff facilities using colour coded equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Canteen & Kitchens: by mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, hoovering carpets, cleaning insides of cupboards, cleaning dishwasher filters, operating the dishwasher and ensuring clean cutlery / crockery is always available for staff, restocking of coffee / tea as required, cleaning within staff fridges, disposing of any out-of-date food.

\xc2\xb7 Offices: by wiping desks, hoovering carpets, cleaning windows, dusting skirting boards, removing cobwebs, and overall ensuring all areas are free from dust and grime

\xc2\xb7 Toilets: by mopping floors, cleaning of toilets, wiping of cubicle partitions, cleaning hand wash sinks, polishing mirrors etc and overall ensuring all toilet areas are always in a hygienic condition, free from any dust & grime

\xc2\xb7 Keeping external yard areas tidy, by litter picking and cleaning with a pressure washer

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring changing room & toilets dispensers are always full (soap, sanitiser, paper towel, hairnets, toilet roll etc)

\xc2\xb7 Cleaning of staff PPE, using washing machines provided.

\xc2\xb7 Keeping High Risk and Low risk changing rooms clean and tidy.

\xc2\xb7 Management of Factory clothing \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring clean overcoats are always available for factory staff.

\xc2\xb7 Completion of cleaning records for duties undertaken each day

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as required by Management.

Salary: \xc2\xa310.90-\xc2\xa315.95 (Varies on each job role )

Skills required:

\xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritise workload.

\xc2\xb7 An eye for detail

\xc2\xb7 Good standard of verbal and written English

Break entitlement: 40 minutes unpaid
