Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Romsey

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa325,500 depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, full time

The Role:

An exciting opportunity to join the BPC Energy manufacturing team.

BPC Energy design and manufacture Uninterruptible Power Systems and Emergency Lighting Systems. The UK facility in Romsey manufactures single phase and three phase systems up to 30kVA and provides testing of all systems up to 500kVA.

A physical role requiring fitness and capability to cover 2 warehouse areas and 2 workshops and one live test area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock control of goods in/out using handheld barcoding system.
• Loading/unloading using FLT & EPT and racking storage.
• Working closely with logistics and production teams.
• Moving/unpack/repack equipment for test engineers.
• Assisting in small parts and spare parts stocktake and control.
• Keeping all areas of workshop and production areas tidy and clear of rubbish.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Good understanding of written and spoken English.
• Previous experience in similar environment would be helpful but not essential.
• Good level of computing including a working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• FLT Licence.

• Ability to keep to deadlines and work independently as well as in a team.
• Hard working and good time-keeping.
• Attention to detail and consistency of output.

Desired qualifications

• 3 x GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent.

Training Provided:

• Forklift & EPT Refresher courses.
• Manual Handling and Health and Safety.
