Providing assistance with the daily operation of the warehouse, you will take ownership of the courier system and ensure inventory processes are completed accurately and in accordance with health and safety policies.
The Role:
- Ownership of the courier system, logging returns and ensuring all tote boxes are ready to use for the outbound modules.
- Checking and inspecting goods received to ensure the quantity and type are accurate and of acceptable quality.
- Ensure that all inventory processes are completed accurately and on the same day.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with the use mechanical handling equipment i.e. forklift trucks to move goods.
- Pick, pack, wrap and label products and remove pallets from production area as required.
- Assist in clearing returned coffee machines and monitor the usage of module kits.
- Breakdown and dispose of returned filter boxes and module kits, notifying the Quality Controller of faulty modules or parts that can be re-used.
- Submit daily parts requirements to Warehouse Team Leader.
- Store products safely and assist with month end stocktakes.
- Previous Warehouse Operative experience.
- Hold current Reach Truck and Counter-Balance Licences.
- Patience to carry out repetitive tasks.
- Good observational skills to spot defective products.
- Confident user of MS Office.
- Good team working with the ability to work on your own.
- Ability to follow strict Health and Safety guidelines.
- A willingness to work flexibly.
