Job Description

Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Warehouse Operative/ Flight Packer with our clients\' catering service, preparing airline meals - based in Stansted.

The rate of pay is \xc2\xa311.50 per hour.

This is a full-time role with rotating shifts, the hours of work are:

- 6am to 2pm
- 7am to 3pm
- 6am to 6pm

Own transport is required due to the location of this site.

It is mandatory for candidates to provide references and have a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to undergo a DBS check.

Your Time at Work

The responsibilities of a Packer include:

- Ensuring that flights are stocked with the correct equipment and depart on the scheduled time
- Responsibility for restocking bars and duty-free trolleys from aircrafts, adhering to the standard set by each airline we serve within a specified time period
- Checking stock and orders are correct and ready to go

As part of your normal duties, you will also undertake some manual handling/bending and reaching.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Packer will be able to provide details for us to complete a 5-year background employment check, this can be employment reference/ education reference or gap reference for unemployment periods.

They will enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-moving environment where deadlines are tight to ensure that flights depart on time.

Packers must be able to maintain a clean and safe workstation, working in a manner that promotes good health and safety practices

They should be able to complete basic numerical tasks as part of this role.

No previous experience is needed as an Airline Bar Packer necessary as full training will be provided.
