We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely loading and offloading vehicles using overhead cranes, side-loaders, and FLTs. You will also carry out visual inspections to verify that products meet specifications and maintain safe storage and traceability to ensure stock is identified and stored in the correct locations to meet customer requirements.

Additionally, you'll be trained to operate machinery for the cutting of steel products and ensure excellent quality assurance standards are met. You'll actively participate in business improvements and always adhere to health and safety legislation. Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Competent Overhead Crane Operator Excellent knowledge of H&S and Safe working practices Knowledge of Steel specification and quality control Flexible and be able to work under pressure and handle multiple projects Computer Literate Good written and verbal skills

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

Fork-lift truck, Shunt & Side loader Operator Health and safety qualification (IOSH) First Aid Trained Machine Operation Experience, Band Saw, Plate Processing, Shot Blasting & Painting

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
