An exciting new opportunity has now arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join a diverse, progressive and market leading Distribution Company based in County Down. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-moving environment within a small team. They will need to be able to adapt, work quickly, and have great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles coming into and leaving the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner Unpacking, inspecting and quality checking products Ensuring that stock is replenished in the warehouse so customer demand can be met as quickly as possible Assembling components and packing kits to ensure adequate stock levels Ensuring that wrong picks and damage goods are kept to an absolute minimum Ensuring that your workstation, and the warehouse in general, is kept clean, tidy and free from hazards Undertaking stock taking as and when required Ensuring that all lifting and manoeuvring of product(s) is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures Must be able to pass quarterly online tests for health and safety, fire risks, manual handling, and any other relevant testing Working effectively individually and as part of a team to ensure business needs are met Carrying out general warehouse duties

Required Skills:

Must have good Maths and English skills and be able to demonstrate this Be a team player Possess a keen eye for detail Have enthusiasm and passion for our products Have a proactive attitude and enjoy being busy Good verbal communication skills Be able to move between jobs easily whilst maintaining focus Have a hunger to hit deadlines Excellent attention to detail, with methodical approach, and the ability to work quickly, accurately and safely

Desirable:

Forklift license Computer literate
