Position Summary:

We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for a Warehouse Operative within our Architectural Coatings division, based in our Carrickfergus warehouse. We're looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team. Experience of working in warehouse environment essential. PPG are a global company founded in 1882, with a presence in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland for nearly 40 years. Our brands, Johnstone's and Leyland Paint, are supported by a 60,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Carrickfergus, along with 27 Johnstone's Decorating Centres across Ireland. A day in the life of...

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include: Pick, pack and assemble orders, ensuring a high level of accuracy at all times. Maintain a good level of efficiency. Align with health and safety regulations, while always maintaining safe-working practices. Loading and unloading of deliveries. Check customer orders before dispatch. Daily housekeeping


The hours of work for the position are 39 hours per week, this is a full time permanent role.

Skills Required...

GCSE Maths (Minimum Grade C or equivalent) Valid Forklift License required Previous Warehouse experience Power pallet truck preferred (not essential)
