ABOUT THE ROLE -

• Effective ordering of stock items and planning for maintenance breaks \xe2\x80\x93 client system and EoS.
• Being initial and key point of contact for the customer
• Responding to client enquiries and requests \xe2\x80\x93 Non-stock, across multiple vendors.
• Keep order expediting up to date.
• Supporting the Customer Operations Manager in sourcing activities.
• Receiving deliveries \xe2\x80\x93 using both ERIKS and Customer computer systems to log deliveries received. Allocate to correct shelf or correct person dependant on order type.
• Stock checking - counting stock as appropriate following a yearly, monthly or weekly plan. Accurately enter data using customer\xe2\x80\x99s computer system. Check for accuracy in shelf to sheet correlation. Analyse results and correct any discrepancies.
• Expediting orders \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring our suppliers stick to their quoted delivery dates. Communication with suppliers by phone or email to keep our records up to date.
• Consumables ordering \xe2\x80\x93 ownership of and ordering of consumable items such as nuts and bolts, grinding discs, thread tape etc
• Hygiene and safety \xe2\x80\x93 ownership of Engineering Stores and outside areas from a Hygiene, Safety and organisation perspective. Housekeeping as per daily checklist.
