Rachel Kathryn residential home is looking to welcome a night support worker to our team
shift will include a minimum of 1 wake in night shift per week and 2 sleep in shifts per week
Hours of work are 7.00 pm until 7 am wake in night
7.30pm-7.00am sleep in support
Experience of working with individuals with learning, physical and mental health would be beneficial although not essential.
Applicants will be required to do wake in nights ,due to legislation applicant will need to be over the age of 21 and will include weekends
It is essential that applicants are in receipt of / working towards Level 2 in care (Previously known as NVQ 2) or a willingness to achieve the qualification within a specified timeframe.

Duties
Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support residents in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident status and any concerns.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate personnel.
Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or activities.
Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.
Experience
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
A valid driving license is preferred
Familiarity with IT systems is advantageous for maintaining accurate records and communication.
