As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience through attentive service, culinary knowledge, and an ability to work independtely within the restaurant.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our high standards of quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service. Assist with the training of new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of restaurant procedures and menu items.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the culinary arts is highly valued. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A keen understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
