Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary services, with a passion for guest satisfaction. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patrons receive high-quality service, while also demonstrating excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with dietary restrictions or preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting shortages to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or culinary role is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices and guest services. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience for guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Pay: 11.44-17.65 per hour
