Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised environment within the restaurant.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service. Assist with food preparation as needed, following kitchen protocols. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations throughout the shift. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to assist in the kitchen when required. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
