Kyloe, Edinburgh's premier gourmet steak restaurant nestled within The Rutland Hotel, is looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and service-driven Waiting Staff to join our award-winning team. About Us: At Kyloe, we proudly partner with some of Scotland's finest farms and butchers to serve exceptional, sustainably sourced steaks in a vibrant and theatrical dining environment. Our signature service elements -- from the 'Steak Board' to our 'Knife Roll' presentation -- are designed to delight and engage, and we want our front-of-house team to bring that same level of enthusiasm to the table.

Your role as a Waiter/Waitress:
Delivering outstanding service from the first interaction to the last
Guiding guests through the customer journey, confidently explaining our wine and food offering
Presenting and explaining our signature service elements with flair
Managing your section efficiently during busy services
Communicating clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
Upselling where appropriate, always ensuring that any recommendations are made with the guest experience in mind
Ensuring your section is tidy, organised and ready to welcome guests at all times
Taking pride in every detail, from table presentation to guest interactions

What we're looking for:
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
A confident, engaging personality with a professional attitude
Strong communication skills and a natural sense of teamwork
The ability to stay calm, efficient, and upbeat under pressure
Great attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a guest-facing role is preferred, but not essential -- we'll provide full training for the right candidates
