Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring attention to detail. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as required, ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic maths skills.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while engaging with guests. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Understanding of food safety standards to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. A proactive approach to helping guests with their needs and preferences within the restaurant setting.
