Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in the hospitality industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience during their visit.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system or by hand, ensuring clarity in communication. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences, showcasing knowledge of culinary offerings. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to assist colleagues in the kitchen or other areas as needed, fostering teamwork within the establishment.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
