Help us create a better future, quickerThe Vulnerability Management Lead will work within the Digital Transformation team, working across all ScottishPower businesses, with the objective of rolling out the Global Application Security Model, to ensure best practices for secure software development.This person will coordinate and collaborate with the global business, defining projects, initiatives and standards, making sure these are adopted across the business.What youll be doingA key focus of this role will be to implement and evolve the application security model, aligning it to the Global Application Cybersecurity team, ensuring standards and best practices are fully integrated into the Software Development Lifecycle.Within this role, youll lead on vulnerability management, promoting the adoption and execution of the global vulnerability management processes and controls. This includes:Inventorying of logical components and dependencies of business solutionsProactively discovering vulnerabilitiesCoordinating the execution of scanning, pen testing, or in general the activities and services of vulnerability identificationVulnerability assessmentRemediation and mitigation of vulnerabilitiesSolution verificationReportingContributing to the evolution of the process for vulnerability management.Lead security assessments of commercial packagesYoull look to continually evolve the implementation of cybersecurity, implementing new measures and optimising those already in place. Youll act as the owner and subject matter expert for the Secure Software Development Standards, Methods and Tools, and has the overall accountability to:Work with the global teams to influence, direct and understand the Iberdrola defined standardsTake overall accountability for the governance, oversight, and adoption of these standards within ScottishPower.Lead the education, training, and awareness of standardsImplement governance and control mechanisms to ensure complianceWhat were looking forDetailed knowledge of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC)Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity threats and associated attack techniques.Design knowledge: modelling of components, data, interfaces, etc.Threat analysis and modellingKnowledge of web application securityVulnerability discovery techniques and vulnerability lifecycle scanning and management.Knowledge of application security architecture: segmentation, API Gateway, Encryption, Privileged Account Management, WAF, publishing, event collection tools and alert management.Stakeholder management, with the ability to work across multiple projects and teams.Whats in it for youAs well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
