What you will be doing
Responsible for driving business for small to medium pharmaceutical companies looking to launch their products globally. Will demonstrate a deep knowledge of and work in conjunction with various pre-Commercialization departments across GPS (Global Pharma Services) and International Business Group (IBG) including Alliance Healthcare, PharmaLex, World Courier and Innomar Strategies. Services include building out our 3PL ++ offering in Europe, which includes, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, Consulting and Patient services. The intent of this role is to create a seamless experience and offer strategic advice on global launch strategies with customers when partnering with GPS and AmerisourceBergen as well as strategically positioning our experience and service offerings for small to medium pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Actively work and collaborate with new business development and applicable operational teams to develop pre-commercialization plans and business for Global SMID manufacturers
Develop deep knowledge of AmerisourceBergen, Alliance Healthcare, PharmaLex and Innomar pre-commercialization capabilities and individual client needs
Collaborate with each business unit to coordinate global RFP responses and proposals including contract negotiations \xe2\x80\x93 working with legal, project management, marketing, procurement and finance as needed
Advise on and critique different potential global commercialization models including timelines and consulting on recommendations/requirements for commercialization in different global markets with a strong focus on Europe
Provide continuity for the client during the pre-commercialization journey across AmerisourceBergen, Alliance Healthcare, Innomar Strategies and PharmaLex
Work with customers on planning for multiple global launches and planning/strategizing for service offerings
Ensure a positive customer experience across all phases of contract negotiations with multiple business unit teams
Support GPS and IBG strategic plans and growth targets for pre-commercialization services
Identify gaps in current AmerisourceBergen pre-commercialization services and capabilities, and identify appropriate mitigation plans. Collaborate with business leaders within each Global market and Marketing as needed
Work key business unit leaders to explore and make decisions on outsourced offerings and targeted partnerships, building internal capability
What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, sales, marketing, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree program, MBA preferred. Normally requires minimum of twenty (20) years related and progressively responsible experience within the healthcare industry
