Job Summary


We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Visitor Experience Assistants to join our passionate front of house team at Leeds Castle. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience of visitors by providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in a variety of locations, including Retail & Admissions, Visitor Operations and within the Castle.

Responsibilities



Welcoming all visitors in a professional and engaging manner, ensuring the highest standards of customer care at all times To observe and anticipate visitor needs, providing pertinent information & assisting any visitors or staff who may require it, escalating to a relevant manager, supervisor or first aider where appropriate. To work as 'one team' supporting colleagues to provide visitors with a seamless experience, ensuring good communication is maintained in person and via the radio network To work flexibly across the site in a range of duties To deal with queries and requests promptly and courteously, as well as welcoming feedback comments and complaints, responding to these as appropriate. To carry out all point of sale transactions correctly and efficiently following company procedures (Retail & Admissions specific) To be fully conversant with Fire Evacuation & Security procedures, assisting in the event of an emergency response

Qualifications



Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Weekend and bank holiday working is a requirement of this role on a rotation basis. During seasonal events, hours may be amended in line with business need.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
