to help us scale -- managing production, sharpening the creative edge, and keeping everything running like clockwork.
About the Role
As
Head of Shows
, you'll be the
operational and creative leader
behind
My Duvet Flip
.
You'll manage a team of talented editors, oversee client bookings, maintain our recording and launch schedules, and ensure the show consistently delivers high-quality, engaging content -- on time, every time.
You'll be based in London with the team, bringing energy, ideas, and leadership to our fast-growing media brand.
Responsibilities
Production Management
Oversee the full production lifecycle -- from planning to recording, editing, and publishing.
Manage recording schedules, studio bookings, and episode launch timelines.
Review and approve edits, maintaining consistency in quality and storytelling.
Creative Oversight
Maintain and evolve the creative vision for the show.
Suggest and implement new episode formats, series, or content opportunities.
Ensure each episode matches the brand's tone, energy, and mission.
Team Leadership
Directly manage and mentor editors.
Run regular production meetings, providing feedback, coaching, and support.
Solve bottlenecks and troubleshoot production challenges.
Booking and Client Management
Oversee the guest booking pipeline.
Approve incoming guest opportunities and manage the client onboarding experience (for paid guests).
Ensure all guests are supported before, during, and after recording.
Client Relationship Support
Deliver a high-end experience for clients appearing on the show.
Act as a point of contact for key clients, ensuring clear communication and smooth production processes.
Reporting and Process Improvement
Track show and production KPIs.
Propose and implement improvements to production processes.
What You'll Need
Proven podcast production experience
-- you've helped run or launch shows before.
Strong project management skills
-- you thrive at keeping multiple moving parts organised.
Creative instincts
-- you know how to shape compelling, high-energy content.
Experience managing editors or creatives
-- you can lead and inspire a small team.
Strong client communication skills
-- you're comfortable liaising with paying guests and VIPs.
Proficiency with project management tools
(Notion, Trello, Airtable, or similar).

Have helped scale podcasts past the early growth stage.
Have editorial or storytelling/journalism background.
