We are seeking to appoint our next Vice Principal (Education) to join the Senior Management Team and to lead the university\'s education strategy across all aspects of quality assurance, enhancement, progression, attainment, employability, and non-academic student experience activities including student support. You will inspire the university community to continually enhance our support for students (including online learners) and our overall student experience. Along with the other members of the Senior Management Team, you will also assist the Principal in achieving the University\'s objectives of inclusiveness, interdisciplinarity, internationalisation and sustainability in line with the universities \xe2\x80\x9cAberdeen 2040\xe2\x80\x9d strategy.
You will bring a proven track record of leading the successful delivery of teaching and learning initiatives at a senior level, demonstrating new approaches and digital innovations in education to improve the student experience. You will be an experienced leader within the higher education sector, with a strong network of relevant relationships in the UK and/or internationally.
This could be an ideal opportunity for those who have led a learning and teaching portfolio at a faculty or central level to step up into their first senior leadership role or equally appealing for candidates seeking a sideways move to a larger institution on an upward trajectory.
