We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic veterinary receptionist to join our team. You are our clients first point of contact, it is important that they are made to feel welcome and comfortable when they arrive in the practice. Our reception teams, greet clients and their pets, take calls and handle financial transactions. You will also be responsible for challenging administration duties such as dealing with insurance queries, pet health club queries, emails and debt administration. We are an extremely busy practice and the working environment is fast paced and requires excellent multi tasking skills. Veterinary reception is a very rewarding role however it is not always an easy role. Customer service in this environment can be challenging. A calm and sympathetic approach is important to us.
You will be working along side an experienced and supportive team of vets, nurses and receptionists. Training can be given for this role however veterinary receptionist experience is preferred and customer service experience is essential for this role.
The role will be based between our Dundonald and Saltcoats branches, working 30 hours per week. A share of the weekend rota is also included. The role will involve some animal handling, full training will be given. A full clean, manual driving licence is required for transportation of patients using the practice vehicle. An immediate start is possible.

Hours of work are;
Monday 8.30-7.30pm
Tuesday 8.30-1.30pm
Wednesday - 8.30-7.30pm
Friday - 2.30-7.30pm
Weekends are 1 in 8, Saturday 8.15-4.30pm and Sunday 9.45-4.30pm
