An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen to join our passionate team within our well equipped veterinary practice in Moulton. This is a varied role working within the clinical team of vets, nurses and support staff. Previous experience in a Care Assistant role or a role working with surgical instruments is required.

The successful candidate will work closely with our nurses, assisting with the care of our hospitalised patients. They will also work alongside our surgical team cleaning and preparing surgical kits. This role rotates between the two departments in the hospital and includes a variety of tasks such as daily patient observations, feeding, walking, and maintaining the ward area and kits.

Abington Park vets is a busy veterinary hospital, performing routine procedures such as neutering, dentals and diagnostic imaging. We also have a high level of complex cases, including fracture repairs, total hip replacements and medical cases.

This role works on a rotation basis Monday to Friday and includes shifts of 3pm-7pm Tuesday - Friday and working an 8 hour day on Mondays. This will include 1 in 8 Saturday morning shift of 8am-1pm. Time back in Lieu is given for every weekend shift completed.
