We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the operations of our venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of all activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing events, staff, and resources while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the venue, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage event planning and execution, coordinating with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high standards of service. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest experiences. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and increase venue visibility within the community. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure readiness for events. Prepare reports on venue performance, including attendance figures, revenue generation, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in venue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest services. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing events and resources. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests is essential.
